Sabadell and its surroundings are a powerful sports epicenter of Mediterranean Europe. Its vitality makes Sabadell one of the capitals of sport and home to important national and international sporting events throughout the year.

The city has unique sports facilities that range from the only Indoor Athletics Track in Catalonia to the Anella Esportiva de Sant Oleguer, the Nova Creu Alta Football Stadium or the pavilions, swimming pools and sports spaces distributed throughout the city.

We have a rich sports fabric with more than 200 sports organizations, among which Club Natació Sabadell stands out, one of the clubs with the most practicing members at European level (more than 27,000). Swimming and water polo are the star sports of the city, along with athletics and football, not to mention tennis, basketball, cycling or handball. In fact, all kinds of sports are practiced: from mountain sports or fencing, table tennis, motor sports, gymnastics, to martial arts, skating or rugby among many others.

The sporting dynamism together with business and knowledge initiatives are allowing the configuration of a sports cluster in Sabadell and its area of influence.
