Cigró menut is a tiny chickpea offering an intense flavour and covered by a practically imperceptible peel.
Mainly, it is grown in Parc Agrari de Sabadell, where a variety of an unknown-origin chickpea was discovered 15 years ago.
Cigrons menuts can be cooked in many different ways. They are delicious when seasoned with olive oil, but it is also common to eat them with some bacon fat.
