The old wash house from Creu Alta neighbourhood in Sabadell was designed by the architect Josep Renom and it is a notable example of a construction built during the modernist industrial age. It is such a hermetic building consisting of a 611-square-metre area and a roof with slopes to collect water and make it go inside the place. Its façades are brick walls covered with render mortar presenting spiral-shaped geometrical “sgraffitos”, stucco works and panels on the building’s doors.
Since 2006, this place works as Creu Alta library.
