Sant Julià bread belongs to an initiative from Parc Agrari de Sabadell, along with Cooperativa Agrària de Sabadell i Comarca (Coagsa), Moretó flour factory in Mollet del Vallès and Gremi de Flequers de Barcelona. This bread is so called in honour of Sant Julià d’Altura chapel, located in Parc Agrari de Sabadell. It has also been the first bread to receive a certification from Producció Integrada de Catalunya.
Sant Julià bread is characterized by two elements: the precision put into selecting its ingredients and the quality guarantee of its making process.
It is made daily by different Sabadell bakers in three formats, which are: rustic bread, round bread and “barra de quart” bread.
