This building was designed by the architect Juli Batllevell and can be considered an austere modernist construction. It has been possible to preserve its façade, which is an outstanding architectural work containing decorative elements such as tiles on the frieze and pointed-arch windows with grilles. One may also pay attention to the polychromatic-tiles board made by a potter from Sabadell called Marià Burguès using a technique known in Catalan as “tècnica de l’aresta”. This art work occupies a large space on the façade’s corner.
