Modernist building designed by the modernist architect Juli Batllevell. The facade is its most relevant feature because it has lots of ornaments and contains stuccos, pottery pique assiette mosaics, glass tiles and paintings made by a technique known in Catalan as “trapa”.
Despatx Lluch was the textile office where the fabrics made by the Lluch family were traded. In fact, on the Indústria street —where Despatx Lluch is located— there are several textile offices and some steam factories as well, due to its closeness to the train station, the arriving point both for commercial travellers and raw materials. This building has been rehabilitated recently and currently it hosts Sabadell’s Citizen Attention Office. |
