During the 9th and 10th centuries, at the place where Can Feu Castle is currently found, there was an Early-Medieval-Period villa —a farm— related to the Sobarber family.

In the 12th century, this villa became a fortified house and the centre of a territory that started waning due to the pious donations mainly given to monasteries, first by the Sobarber family and then by the Togores family.

At some point during the 16th century, there was a severe fire that badly damaged the main building, which made it be known as “Torre Cremada” as well (“Torre Cremada” means “Burnt Tower” in Catalan).

At the end of the 18th century, Pau de Feu I Soler bought this property, which was consolidated as a farm at that moment.

In the 18th century, Can Feu was the logistics hub of the different properties held by the Feu family, for whom this place was a place to rest and have fun.

At the end of the 19th century, Josep Nicolau, the last member of the Olzina family from Riu-sec and son of the Feu family, constructed the building that has been preserved until today.

Since 2007, Can Feu Castle has been recovered for the city and is currently a government-owned construction. It will be rehabilitated and a 63-hectare-surface urban park will be constructed around the castle.
